She's probably not lawful based on the way she's dealt with crown's guards, and she hasn't done anything explicitly evil. At the moment she seems to mostly just be interested in acquiring shiny things and looking out for Caleb, but I don't think she would ever intentionally hurt an innocent person and I could easily see an alignment shift towards good coming. There was no reason for him to do this except out of the kindness of his heart. Plenty of people have pointed out good things he's done, but IMO the best example is when he sneaked silver into the pockets of people who bought the group drinks. While I am intrigued by the theory that all his kindness is a front, from what we've seen he is the most good character in the group. She has also been reluctant to heal people, even a small child. She's consistently been willing to cheat and steal from random people and mess with them for no purpose other than her own amusement. He strikes me as the most suspicious, especially with his warlock pact. It seems like he has been willing to do some pretty shifty stuff, like when they were on the road and he was completely open to the idea of robbing a random family. Sure he's nice to people, but that could have more to do with his high charisma. A lot of people seem to think he's the most morally inclined of the group, but that's not the impression I get.

All he really seems to care about are the interests of himself and Nott.įjord: True Neutral. He respects the empire but is willing to break their laws. He doesn't seem to have any strong moral convictions. After all, good doesn't always mean friendly.Ĭaleb: True Neutral. The chaotic part is a no-brainer with her opposition to "institutions." Her stand-offish attitude makes her seem neutral, but she also seems to be concerned with bringing justice, so I wouldn't rule good out. I think it's been vocal enough that even if Taliesin's original plan was to do CE with Mollymauk like he mentioned, that he'd change his plan just to mess with people now.īeau: Chaotic Neutral or Good. I also think a lot of people pre-judged Mollymauk before the first episode even aired. The closest probably being Nott killing the baby manticore to save her friends, but D&D doesn't really consider killing baby monsters the same as killing babies so shrug. No one has shown any real "evil" tendencies. The group doesn't shy away from rushing in to danger to help people, and they tend to help and then look for coin rather than holding out on helping until they know they'll be paid. The cast have done a good job of making very nuanced people, but it's clear that they are playing D&D to be heroes more than villains, even if a bit shadier. Overall it's hard to categorize most of the characters. My guess is she'll end up more CG than any type of evil. This will likely change as the show goes on. Yasha - Chaotic Neutral - we have seen the least of Yasha, but so far what we have seen is very mercenary in nature.

I think Molly has a strong code that he follows and while he may not be a force for good in the world, he is definitely not evil (from what we have seen so far.) He follows his code, he helps enforce it in the group (reminding Caleb to share coin with the group, and nott to not go through the group's personal stuff) Mollymauk - Lawful Neutral - I think Molly's getting a bad rap from a talk Taliesin gave before Molly was even made. Jester - Chaotic Good - self explanatory. Nott - Chaotic Good - despite the thieving, which isn't malicious, Nott is definitely Good. I think he would be more obviously Chaotic Good except he has a bit of a cowardly streak that pushes him more towards neutral. He is very much concerned with the self and his own interests. I can see her falling to more a true neutral over the campaign, but I thinks he still has some of that young idealism under a lone wolf veneer right now.Ĭaleb - Chaotic Neutral - Caleb seems more nuanced than this, but it also fits.

SHe's one of the first to want to get into the mix of things. She can be a bit self centered, and she questions everything, but when push comes to shove she wants to help people.

But he also has shown to like the order and stability of a group and how things work in that.īeau - Chaotic Good - Beau is definitely for the little guy. He was just fine posing as Crownsguard, and going against his word to stay in the inn in order to pursue his goals. Fjord: Neutral Good - Fjord has shown to have a good heart in how he wants to deal with people, but he does not seem particularly bound to a code in any particular way.
